Ka Pomaikai was born from a period of transformation.

Years ago, during a time of major change in business and life, Rosane Phoenix found herself standing at a crossroads. A production company that had been part of her family’s journey had come to an end, leaving behind a warehouse full of equipment, inventory, and unanswered questions about what would come next.

Rather than seeing it as an ending, Rosane chose to see it as a new beginning.

She began selling the remaining inventory through garage sales, Facebook Marketplace, and online platforms like eBay. What started as a practical solution soon became something more meaningful. Through the process, Rosane discovered a natural passion for sales, entrepreneurship, and building connections with people.

Each sale, each conversation, and each opportunity revealed a new path forward.

As she continued learning the world of e-commerce and digital business, Rosane realized that challenges often carry hidden opportunities. What once felt like an uncertain moment gradually transformed into a journey of reinvention.

From that experience came the inspiration for Ka Pomaikai.

The name comes from the Hawaiian language and means “The Blessing of Prosperity.” For Rosane, prosperity is not only financial success — it is the ability to grow, rebuild, create, and move forward with purpose.

Today, Ka Pomaikai reflects that philosophy.
